Customer video review of Barefoot Shoes Be Lenka Trailwalker 3.0 - Navy

Received my shoes yesterday, not really knowing what to expect. The soles are a little stiffer than I thought they would be, which is good, although I was looking forward to the feel of the ground through the soles. I get more ground feel from my dunlop volleys. Since I bought these for walking bush tracks, I was afraid that barefoot shoes might be too thin soled, but they are not, and have a nice amount of cushioning. The uppers are also a bit stiffer than I feared, and my feet feel secure in them. I am sure that they will soften up a bit, but the construction seems sturdy. I walked in them this morning, and you can see a little staining from the wet grass. If this bothers you, you might want to waterproof spray them. I am looking forward to giving the shoes a better test on our firetrail.

2nd pair, same colour. I keep the old pair for my early walks and jog…I’ve had them well over a year. The sole's are still good, no peel away or busted seams. New pair I will keep for best - wearing them in the summertime. They are the most comfortable shoe, and great for whole body balance…I will never go back to any other (apart from my beloved clogs.!) for daily wear.

The best sneakers ever; they are so comfortable and versatile.

Customer photo review of Barefoot Shoes Be Lenka Trailwalker 2.0 - Grey

Love them! Nice suede; lining has a good skinfeel. Sole has nice grip. High volume, good depth and width in toe box (especially over the thumb) I can move my toes up an out! I am a 23.8/9.9cm - wearing 39 (I like a good thumb width betweeen toe and shoe). Mudguard keeps the wet from the shoe but also disguises the width of the toebox when looking down - if new to foot shaped shoes could be a nice start! Easy to put on/take off. CON: The fingerpull is sewn to the inside of the shoe - the edge of the grosgrain and the stitching scratched my heel - trimmed and filed the edges - but it could be attached on the outside beneath the tab. Bought them to walk the dog on trails of gravel and grass - they look so good, they have dressed up and gone OFF trail too

Love the funky colour (everyone comments), soooo comfortable (but I'm already a barefoot fan) and there's nothing not to like

I have taken these shoes on rocky ground, off the trail, and found them really supportive. I was afraid that they would feel insecure, but they were great and feel as comfy as slippers. The only sort of negative comment is that they would be better a half size longer. They don't have the barefoot feel on the ground, but I appreciate the protection on rocky trails.

Bought these to take to Japan on holiday recently. Loved them. Very comfortable and very pack-able. I would recommend them

Comfortable and may be helping foot strength- too soon to tell for sure

I'm new to barefoot shoes. I'm so glad I tried them! I've been wearing these for short trails, and it's been a great experience. They look great and feel amazing.

Good delivery time frame and the shoes are great.

Very comfortable for long walks in and outside of the city, my feet do not feel tired and the wider front & toe box helps as my bunions do stick out quite a bit. Great pair of shoes, easy to wear (i knot the laces at the end so I can easily slip it on and off) and easy to care for. Grip soles seem fine for trails or pavements, no slips experienced! Recommend this for people who enjoy walking lots!

These shoes are very comfortable. They have a wide toe box and the soles are non-slip which is what I wanted. I would recommend that you waterproof the suede before wearing to protect the shoes from stains and inclement weather.

Very happy. Comfortable, look good, good for walking and travel. Perfect for my 25.5/9.5 feet. Wide enough for little toes.

These are my first barefoot style shoes and after a short time adapting to walking barefoot, they are by far the most comfortable shoes I own. My feet have never felt better and my ankles/balance feels better too. The very wide toebox on these is a revelation too. So far durability is great, I was worried the sole may wear prematurely, but no wear to report so far. The uppers feel high quality and so far seem to be very comfortablel in the summer heat. Only problem is now I don't want to wear any of my old shoes!

Comfortable shoes - like wearing slippers. I went up half a size to allow enough leeway for my toes. Will get some waterproofing spray for the suede leather so they will be wearable in all weather conditions.

Comfortable but should have bought a size 44.

At first, I was concerned because the shoes felt a bit tight around my toes, and I have a medium foot. However, I'm really glad I didn't size up – they stretched perfectly and became comfortable. I also worried about ankle support since I’m used to hiking in boots, but surprisingly, I haven’t rolled my ankle once, and the shoes feel so stable. And they have a nice grip - so great! P. S. Little tip - use the nubuck-safe waterproof spray before you head out on a trail

I absolutely love my barefoot shoes. I have been wearing them daily for close to a month now. I work at a resort as a cleaner and these shoes are amazing, great flexibility, my toes can spread out naturally, giving me far better balance. I don’t have sore feet or toes at the end of the day anymore. I haven’t had a chance to go bush walking yet, but feel they will be perfect. Thank you so much, really good quality shoe as well. Well made.

I received the shoes very soon after ordering them. They fit well and are very comfortable. They look great!

First time wearing the shoes I went for 5km walk - no socks! And I had zero issues! Shoes are great! I bought 1 size up than my regular shoes Highly recommend!

Best walking shoes I’ve ever worn - time will test their durability but they are great so far. I was hesitant to buy shoes online but found the ability to buy a return token at time of purchase for a minimal amount helped with my decision. The online shopping experience was faultless. Thank you

I tried these shoes. Size and fittment as described. (correct nsizeing by the chart provided) They are ‘just the thing’ for me, very comfortable shoes in all respects. A recommended purchase.

I’m so happy with these shoes and even though I bought them for general walking and trail walking they’ve been my go to shoes for pretty much everything.

I have given my Trailwalkers a good work out bushwalking in Tasmania for 5 weeks, sometimes in the rain. The sole and shoe are sound but the glue has given out at the toe rims. Stay on the tracks, feet slide about too much in the shoe doing more serious rock scrambling.

Finally a shoe I can hike in without getting blisters, that suits an extra wide foot with a high arch. Recommended by the quiz on Anya’s Reviews and the recommendation was spot on.

Three stars for the shoes, five stars for customer service. Pros. Lovely colours and style. Fabulous and prompt customer service and easy return/replacement. Nice wide toe box. Good light feeling shoe. Cons. Sizing runs very small. I had to go up a size from my usual and they are still slightly too short. For anyone with a tall foot (the bit under the laces) the inner sole will have to be removed to make enough space other wise the laces have to be loosened to the point of not tying up and makes the shoe look too small. Same with wearing them with socks. They have to be very thin and you can see in the photo how far the laces have to be loosened to accommodate them. They aren’t the most comfortable shoes even if they are very pretty. There just isn’t enough space in the shoe for taller feet. Overall I would be very hesitant to buy the brand again as they don’t suit my feet as well as other brands. I would, however, be very happy to use the company again.

These are one of the best purchases I made this year. I need a shoe that I could go hiking and also needed to be water proof. After using a few barefoot shoes, I always found that my feet would get wet after a small amount of rain. Not the case with these shoes as they have great grip and they didn’t let any water in when walking on wet grass. Love these shoes.
