Barefoot Sandals - Be Lenka Promenade - Sand

Nice shoes for casual wear.

I love these shoes because I can pair them with virtually any bohemian-style or feminine dress in my wardrobe, and still feel “dressed up!” They also work wonderfully with yoga pants, jeans, shorts, and so on.

I always wanted a pair of barefoot shoes that would compliment my less sporty outfits, and finally I found the right ones. Not many barefoot shoes look good with skirts and dresses, however these are the ideal match.

These Lenka shoes are great for urban walking and special occasions, although I would not bring them on hikes or the beach, personally. The upper is made of suede and it can easily stain when exposed to mud or dirt. This is one con of the shoes, so please be aware that they can ruin easily and do require special care. Care instructions come with the purchase.

I’m normally a size 8 or 8.5 in US shoe sizes. I grabbed a size 40 for these shoes and they fit my wide feet just right. It was the exact size I needed!

First pair of Be Lenka shoes I've bought. Love this style and in sand colour - allows for versatility. Was concerned that they would need a wearing in period (especially the band across top of foot), but they were comfortable straight out of the box - beautiful and soft leather, with the elastic sections allowing for extra give in movement. I could do with an a tad more width, but this is the best fit given my wide feet (not a fault with the shoe). The sole is thin and flexible as described - fabulous for some ground-feel.

Having medium width feet with high arches and a painful bunion, I needed something that both fitted my feet and met the ‘barefoot shoe’ criteria. Suffice to say, these shoes are absolutely gorgeous and fit the bill perfectly!
They’ll be my staple for summer and can be easily dressed up and down and are really great quality. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I absolutely love them.
